Just Transition - Evening at the Synergy Centre
Here is Councillor Alexis Rowell (with posters he brought) who spoke with Duncan Law and Lucy Neil at the Just Transition event last night. We welcomed the Climate Caravan to Oval and made plans to attend the Climate Camp next week at Kingsnorth, Kent.

Wednesday 28 May, 7pm, Room 8, Lambeth Town Hall

David Fleming, one of the foremost forward
thinkers of our time, will be giving Transition Town Brixton the first
outing of his new thinking in a talk
ENERGY and ANARCHY:
He writes: "If we are going to deal with the energy/climate problem
with any success at all, we will have to do it ourselves. And we will
need to start by thinking in a completely different way. The market is
not the solution; it is part of the problem. The neglected philosophy
of anarchism has something to tell us which we need to know."
He will also cover Tradable Energy Quotas (TEQs), his excellent system
for equitably achieving our carbon reduction targets, and Nuclear
Power. It will be followed by Q&A and discussion. See more of
David's work at www.theleaneconomyconnection.net
