Transition Town Brixton has achieved a lot in our first 18 months. Still there is a lot of work to do and we cannot do it alone. We are a grassroots organization that has over 1,000 supporters in Brixton - many of whom are actively engaged in the new process of writing the Brixton Energy Descent Plan. We are volunteers attempting to build a better world. But our projects cost money and we have real problems building our capacity to manage the incredible growth of the Transition Town Brixton phenomenon. We really do need a few people to help us out with small donations until we can find more structural long term funding to pay our bills.
